As we enter week two of sheltering in place I wanted to check in to see how you’re doing.
I know many of you, like me, have lost income and are struggling. I feel you. If you need to chat or connect, please feel free to text or email. We are all in this together.
The World Health Organization recommends we start calling it physical distancing instead of social distancing — which seems much more accurate to me. It’s important to be related even while we work to limit physical contact to flatten the curve.
If you would like a session and are able, I have been doing phone sessions at a reduced rate. Just like in person, the session is tailored to what you need. We do some guided meditation, distance craniosacral work, Reiki, intuitive dialoguing and sound healing with tuning forks. You can book your remote session via the online calendar.
You can also purchase gift certificates and packages for when all of this is over.
In the meantime, here are a couple of things I recommend to help as you cope in your own unique ways.
Practice physical distancing, but not emotional distancing. Please reach out and stay connected to people who help you feel safe. Phone conversations, video chats, messages can be helpful when needed.
Go outside (stay six feet away from people). Breathe some fresh air. Nature is still amazing, even at a respectable distance from others.
Be friendly and treat others with compassion. In addition to all the recommended distancing, please make eye contact and smile at others.
Limit news intake. Social media and news are inundated with difficult messaging. There is no need to check the news or technology more than 2-3 times in a single day.
Hang in there! We are all in this together.
Blessings,
Mary
